It is not always possible to pay respects in person, so we hope that this small token will help.
A gift to your family, sparing them hard decisions at an emotional time.
Offer a gift of comfort and beauty to a family suffering from loss.
Generations of families have turned to Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral & Cremation Services, P.C. to provide caring and professional service when they need it most. The original funeral home in Centre Hall opened in 1885 as a furniture store and funeral home combination. Frank Goodhart purchased the business in 1912, and sold it in 1945 to David Jeffries.
On July 15, 1981, Mark D. Heintzelman purchased the funeral home business. Mark then purchased former Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home at 1034 Benner Pike, State College on May 27, 2005.
The goal of Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral & Cremation Services, P.C. has always been to provide old-fashioned personal service while progressively adapting to change. The Centre Hall facility merged with the State College location on Dec. 31, 2016. By taking this action, Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral & Cremation Services, P.C. has become centralized and able to serve families with the professionalism and personal care they have come to expect.
